Preview site. We’re building the UK’s what’s-on guide. The events shown are samples to illustrate how listings will look — they aren’t real, and nothing here is bookable yet. How this works

What we do with your details

Short version: we keep what you type into one of the two forms, we use it to email you about this site, and that’s it.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form. The alerts form asks for an email address, and optionally a name, a town or postcode and the kinds of events you like. The organiser form asks for your name, email, organisation, event, city, category and optionally a link and a message.

We also store a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string with each submission, to spot automated spam. The hash can’t be turned back into an IP address.

What we do with it

We email you about WhatsOnToday.co.uk — for alerts sign-ups, that means telling you when we cover your area. For organisers, it means talking to you about listing your event. We don’t sell your details, we don’t pass them to other companies, and we don’t send anything else.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.gstatic.com.

Where it’s kept

On our own server in the UK. Email is sent through Postmark. Nothing is stored outside those two.

Getting it removed

Email hello@whatsontoday.co.uk and we’ll delete your record and confirm it. You don’t have to give a reason, and there’s no list to argue with.

Who we are

WhatsOnToday.co.uk is a Purple Imp project. For anything about this notice, including a complaint, write to hello@whatsontoday.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
